Susie is a therapist based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work with a certification in Sex and Gender Studies from Saginaw Valley State University in 2017, a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 2020, and her social work licensure in 2021.
Susie uses cultural-relational and feminist frameworks to help clients understand the effects that culture and society have on their lives, and to guide clients to more rewarding and meaningful relationships with themselves and others. Susie is passionate about exploring mindfulness and movement-based practices with her clients, frequently combining evidence-based clinical practices with holistic practices such as yoga and walking during sessions, to promote an active healing experience and mind-body connection.
Susie has experience working with clients aged sixteen through adulthood; survivors of sexual and gender based violence, complex trauma, and workplace harassment; college students; those who are or have engaged in re-traumatizing legal experiences such as, but not limited to, civil lawsuits, criminal court, and Title IX. She is proficient in working with individuals involved in sex work of all forms and LGBTQIA+.
Susie is also an experienced trainer, having created and facilitated training on assorted topics such as trauma-informed policy development, vicarious trauma, disclosure response, and Title IX policy.
Susie is able to work virtually with psychotherapy clients who are physically residing in the state of Pennsylvania. She is able to offer private and group yoga sessions to individuals, regardless of their physical location.
Susie’s base rate is $125 per session. Most people pay between $65 – $145 per 60 min session.
