Megan is a therapist based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Megan received her Bachelor’s Degree in Mental Health Psychology from Edinboro University in 2014 and a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Chatham University in 2016. Megan currently is licensed in the state of Pennsylvania as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Megan uses a relational and feminist framework to help clients understand the role of relationships, culture, and society in their path to finding healing and joy. Megan’s past clinical experience includes complex trauma treatment, crisis management, community mental health, survivor advocacy, group psychotherapy, late diagnosis neurodivergence, chronic pain and illness, anxiety/depression, burnout & vicarious trauma, and disordered eating/body image work. Megan is an EMDR therapist and certified sexual assault counselor in the state of PA. Megan has worked extensively with survivors of sexual abuse and complex trauma. Megan is proficient in working with the LGBTQIA+ community, the neurodiverse community, is sex-positive, and works from an anti-diet perspective.
Megan’s style is collaborative and fun. Patience, compassion, and humor are important for Megan in therapy and in life. Her number one priority is providing a safe, comfortable, and easy-going environment for people to build trust in her, as well as in themselves.
Megan is currently offering pay-what-you-can individual psychotherapy services for clients physically residing in the state of Pennsylvania.
Megan’s base rate is $125 per session. Most people pay between $75 – 140 per 60 min session.
