As a licensed clinical social worker, I have had the opportunity and privilege to support folx as they navigate their own healing journeys. I believe that each person has the answers inside of themself to create meaningful change. My job as your therapist is to guide you as you find these answers and teach you the skills to make the path a little easier. I approach therapy from a person-centered, strengths-based, and trauma-informed perspective.
I specialize in trauma, abuse, and PTSD, including sexual violence, interpersonal violence, birth trauma, religious trauma, human trafficking, and cult-related trauma. However, I also have the knowledge and extensive experience working with folx facing various challenges, including life transitions, relationship difficulties, depression, anxiety, pregnancy and postpartum, self-esteem, stress, identity formation, intimacy, and sex. Additionally, I am experienced in working with college student, sex worker, kink, polyamory, queer, and previously incarcerated communities. It can take a lot of courage to reach out for help, and I’m so glad you’ve taken that first step. I am looking forward to helping you achieve your goals with curiosity, compassion, self-reflection, and humor.
In addition to traditional therapy, I coach folx moving and living abroad with the roadblocks they may face, including homesickness, culture shock, relationships and parenting, overwhelm, self-doubt and fear, and isolation.
